Something is wrong but what?

Well after an oil change my car runs horrible, I will try to describe it as best as possible. When starting in first it shakes and gets loud just like a fire truck., goes away a bit until I get to 3-4k and come back loud. My oil level is fine, do you think the TC may be gone? Oh I still have the stock clutch on with 32k on it, doesn't shift bad at all so it should not be that. It also feels like a loss of power with lots of noise. Any suggestions? It is going to the dealer tommorrow in the am. Do you think they will cover it under warrenty with all my mods, probably not.
Sucks, right after the holiday

Where does the sound seem like its coming from. Is it a whine, hum, squeal, any clanking involved?

Seems to be coming from the front like under my seat. The car vibrates heavily. No clunk, squeels but I guess you could call it a loud hum, hence the vibration. Just sitting there it vibrates more than normal, much worse when on the gas at all.

Ok my gut reaction is that you inadvertently had something drop in through the oil fill hole. It sounds like damage to the valve train to me and since you did have that part of your engine open it is some what logical. Take a half inch drive extension and while you have the engine idling put one end to your ear and the other to the valve cover. This will allow you to hear what is going on with the valves, cams and rockers. Good luck, I hope it isn't serious but it sure doesn't sound good (no pun intended).

Yeah I hope its nothing big. It seems worse at lower start speeds then smooths out.

I always watch them cahge my oil, they know me from going there so many times with 3 different cars. I don't feel anything was dropped in the oil fill hole unless he is good at slight of hand.

I was under the impression that you were doing the changes yourself. No?
The dealer didn't notice the noises and rough idle after the oil change?

Oh. forgot to say one thing.
IMO don't take it back to PB. Go to like Jiffy Lube or the Monkey place. I have never had anything good to say about PB.
