They probably ordered them from a dealer and the dealer gets it's shipment on Monday. Be patient....

You should never take an Evo to someone that doesn't have any experience working on one. They probably lost the o-ring and focked up the driver's side axle seal trying to remove the t-case shaft, this im sure of since alot of shops are doing this. And I fix these problems all too often.

I'd be worried. I made the mistake of taking previous car to a local shop.. Ended up costing me 1200 on top of the clutch / labor to replace the axle/hub they damaged.

I will drive 350 miles to Buschur before even considering going to a local shop.

If I were you I'd inspect their work before driving the car hard.

^^^^ I agree with him. I took mine to a shop a week ago and and spoke to the owner and warned him about all the problems that some shops have. He is a fellow Autocrosser so he took good care of my baby and they were done in 5 hours. I am super happy with the clutch and the work.

Be happy that the shop is fixing their mess. Always get a price going in so they don't make you pay for their screw-ups.

Be patient. You don't want to f-up a new clutch.

Unfortunatly it is hard to "realy" inspect a clutch once the work is done. Check the torque on the xfer case bolts, look for fluid leaks...

good luck.

I am never bringing my car anywhere unless I know the person personally and help them on the install to make sure I know what is going on.

This sucks real bad the guy who owns the shop is one of my father in laws friends. The Owner of the shop who does work also assured me that he could easily do it. Wow I even got talked out of buying a flywheel b/c he could resurface it. Yeah right, now it is too worn and thin i got to get a new one. And i think he wants me to put a oem one in... lol

Has your current flywheel been resurfaced already? I don't understand how it can be too thin if it's never been touched before. Something doesn't add up.

The stock flywheel is thin, its like that for weight savings. Just get it resurfaced and it will be fine.

Allentown, PA. to Norwalk, OH. is not exactly like a trip to the corner 7-11.
