Boost wouldnt go pass 11 psi after MBC installed

I need little help here, i hook it to the turbo and the wastegate. after i install it, the boost max out at 11 and wouldnt go any higher, i kinda dont know where to go from here anymore. I have heard that u need to use the stock hose that's betwen the turbo and the wastegate actuator because they have restrictor pills bulit into them, does the hose has 2 restrictor built into them or just one, and if it got 2 restrictor, does one goes on the MBC inlet side and one on the Outlet side, or does both of the goes on the MBC outlet side which connect to the wastegate. any help will be appreciated.

From what I have read.....thats what the mechanical spring is set to inside the EVO wastegate...meaning the electrical portion is not working.....check that set up. Also, what MVC do you have? If its a Hallman, the port that has a little tiny hole on one of the flat spots where you put the wrench connects to the wastegate....

use the search option my friend!

sounds like you are not using the pill, like the one in the stock compressor line.
take the mbc hose off the turbo , cap it, and then T fit the hose into the bov line. and this hose is the one that comes out the bottom on the mbc with the little hole on the fitting

i agree with plokivos. you need a heavier spring.

Ok i'm just little confused. port facing down with the tiny hole in it, it connect to the wastegate right? and the port right across from the knob connect to the input source, the turbo or the intake bov line right? and if i were need to use the hose with the pills in it, do i need to put that hose on the input side (turbo) or the ouput side (wastegate)? also do i need to use both of the restrictor pills? any help will be greatly appreciated. thanx

yeah, down is wastegate other side of the knob is to the compressor.
the restrictor pill should be off the compressor side (although i still think its the spring)

I bought my Hallman MBC from AL, it does not come with a heavy spring on the side, so if its the spring, where can i buy the spring from? also, the pills are on the compressor side, do i need to use both the pills or just the one by the turbo

now, if you're installing your MBC, you do not need to use the stock restrictor pill hoses.

you're basically removing all of that so you could bypass the stock actuator.

Because you're using the stock actuator and your stock actuator isn't getting any pressure from the wastegate and the turbo, the actuator is going back to its stock boost level, which is 10psi.

You need to just by pass everything, take the stock pill out and cap the intake nipple, turbo nipple (if you're not "T" fitting the BOV line), and the wastegate actuator nipples.

You need to remove the stock pills and replace it with the hose without the restrictor pills onto your MBC.

Hope that helped, check the diagram on that link.

so i dont need to reuse he stock hose with the pills in it? the way i did it was, i cap the intake nipples and the both nipples on the wastegate actuator, and i connect the hose that comes with the MBC from the turbo nipple to the input side of the MBC, and then i use the same hose that come with the KIT and connect it from the Output side of the MBC to the turbo wastegate. Is that the correct way to install it?

yeh, don't use the stock restrictor pills.

That is the correct way to install my man, but don't use the stock restrictor pill.

Don't unplug your actuator either.

You could also cap the turbo nipple and connect it to the bypass BOV hose, that's how I did it.

the factory wastegate is set to 10.5 psi. If you are having problems with the boost controller, you might just want to make sure all the lines are connected properly, ( I had alot of problems with this before, its very confusing). Best of luck to ya !
