Apexi SAFC II and HKS EIDS Question

Can anyone help me. I have the Apexi SAFC II and VTA blow off valve. If I run the HKS EIDS will there be a conflict between the two units? I have not seen this questions asked before.

Does anyone have detailed instructions on installing the HKS EIDS? The instructions that come with the unit are crap.

HKS EIDS Install

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...s+eids+install

Quote from a thread (found by using SEARCH)

EIDS works, I have HKS RS, SSQV, EIDS, and an SAFCII. The SAFC decel feature does not work with the Evo. I put the EIDS between the SAFC and the ECU and it works fine. Don't mess too much with the screw on the EIDS. I'd leave it as it comes from the factory. Also, there was a big improvement putting the RS intake on with the SSQV. I don't know what I gained HP wise but its very noticeable. I also bought the purple fin for the SSQV--makes a different sound when you vent. Deeper, more growly.

I recommend searching

Is there a specific way that you wired the two apart from each other? I noticed they both use most of the same wires. I had a friend that tried this set up and his car still had stalling problems. But I don't know which order he installed the EIDS.

I don't even have on.. just a SAFCII. From the quote above the guy he tapped between the SAFC and the ECU. You may want to pick up a fields harness to keep from messing up the stock wiring.

So it would be like ----[safc]----[eids]---[ecu]

If anyone is interested I just noticed that there is a HKS EIDS for sale on ebay. Here is the link to the site. Thought that someone may be interested in it.
