Thats a good number for un corrected. The first time I got dynoed it said 313 uncorrected. 327 corrected. Great number though.

i'm sure on the uncorrected but u need to find out what driveline loss they are factoring. dynojet has never been good for awd cars & their numbers are overinflated. for example if your same set up was done on a dyno dynamics, you would pull about 269whp as they are factoring a 37% loss due to the awd platform. dynojet usually figures 15% which is for rwd only + the technology they use isn't up to date (drum rollers).

well i hate to break it to you but on a cold day uncorrected #'s would translate to lower SAE corrected #'s. But don't worry about dyno #'s, go to the dragstrip do a good run and see what your trap speed is, it's a much better indication of you car's overall power.

i think housedj is right.....thats why the Evo is advertised with 271HP but on a dyno it only makes like 240ish

u can figure it out like this i think

240 .. 310
----- X ------ = approx 350 Flywheel HP (corrected HP)
271 .. X

please correct me if im wrong!

how about going to a track instead. evo wasn't made for drag racing.

Uh, you missed his point. 1/4 mile times can be correlated to horsepower numbers. A road track won't help.

Don't worry about the corrected/uncorrected thing. There's a SAE correcting factor that can be applied to dyno numbers and I believe it takes things like temperature and altitude into account to try and give you "real" HP numbers. I'm not sure exactly which factors are taken into account to give SAE corrected numbers, so don't quote me on that, but it's not a problem that you need to fix, it's just how the dyno numbers are reported.

solitaire is correct on the corrected thing.... altitude... temp, etc. and yea, i would not pay a bunch of attention to it... if you use the same dyno for comparing set ups... you shoud be fine
