Hopefully my car will be running this afternoon, we still need to get everything right with the AEM. What other mods do you have. I am running the BR500 BB kit, it will make a differnece between the two tunes. I just would like to know how everything is working with your setup.

I have stage 4. I get 20lbs at 4300 rpms it is a little slower than i would like but it hits HARD!

I don't any recient dyno #s since i have done alot since the last time at the dyno.

On the dyno i made 353whp and 312tq with a bad gm bc, paper air filter from the local speed shop(I needed some thing i got rid of the mass air), exhaust leak, and other issues

All that is fixed now and it feels like a different car.

Please let me know how quick yours spools as i am thinking about changing the turbo due to autox.

I want it all drag, autox, and daily driver

Im bumping this cause I would like to know more about the Br500 and the AEM setup! How much sooner would the ball bearing setup spool as opposed to the standard bearing?

I get 28lbs by 3600 and get a 20lbs around 2800 rpm. I do have head work and am sure that helps get the boost up faster. The turbo stays on boost even without hammering the shifts.

The extra timing that you have from the alcohol injection tune probably helps too. At what boost does the alcohol kick on?

Good point...nevre thought about the added timing. Makes sense the way that turbo makes boost. Right now on 93 shell I have it hit at 18psi with 100% by 24psi, I know it is a little to much but I would rather be safe on it. I played around with it and having the 100% point out at 28psi the car was a lot faster feeling.

I am super happy with the set-up. I built the car as a weekend car and had a 2001 Audi S4 for my daily driver, but after getting the car done it was to much fun to not drive. I now drive it every day (snow tires for winter) and love it. It is running really well, drives great and for the most part you would never know it was modified. Even it cold snowey days the car drives like stock. For a mid 11 second car it amazes me every day.

are you sure about those spool numbers? Stock is like 19lbs at 3500 or so right
My aem datalogs show 4200-4300 at 19lbs. So you spool that much faster than stock?

Not 100% sure but it is so hard to tell when it is hard enought to keep the car on the road. I will try to video tape a 3 rd gear pull to really see what it is doing. I did about 10 pulls in third gear a few weeks ago and the numbers seem pretty close. I do know full boost is by 4000rpm.

Keep in mind that 4rings is a BB turbo, I assume yours is not.
