Wink Which turbo upgrade kit?

Hey all I'm a newbie with an 03' Apex Silver Evo8. I am looking into either the A'pexi turbo upgrade kit or the HKS GT2830 kit. Which do you guys think? I want something tha is reliable but will give me good spool and good power overall. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I think you should wait for Buschur's 20G upgrade.

I think the BR20G is gonna blow up way beyond what David had in mind lol. I'm sure more then half the board will be picking one up (me included) Why pay the money for an Apex or HKS kit when you can get the same results with the 20g? Yeah it's nice to say "hey, I spent a ton of money for the (insert brand here) kit" but all it gets you is less money you could be spending on something else like your drivetrain, suspension or some super nice lightweight wheels/tires.

All I know is don't waste your money on "name brand" turbo kits. you can get a custom kit from just about any vendor here with a turbo of equivalent size for much cheaper. do a search
