ACT CLUTCH OWNERS, Clutch Adjustment?

Ok, where is your master cylinder located or look a like.

I'm trying to figure out how everyone got their set at.

That's the master cylinder adjustment. Mine is set at 4 now, but I don't know what the proper setup for the ACT. I think the factory is 1.

If stock is 1 then shouldn't you be at 3 for the ACT clutch? Futher push down for greater pressure.

well, according some people the pedal should be like 2, but i was at 3 for a bit then went and changed it because it wasn't disengaging propertly.

it would studder when disengaging.

Shouldnt everyone's clutch be adjusted specifically so that they have the correct release no matter what clutch they have? The fact that Mitsubishi made the pedal adjustable tells you that even the stock clutch can require differing amounts of pedal travel. I doubt there is one setting for all cars with a specific clutch.

When you replace your clutch (with any clutch) you will need to make sure that you are getting full release with the pedal to the floor.
