WHat should i get?
hey man you might wanna look into both.. i mean i have the same problem, but mostly its cuase of money.. RnR, said, and cal feels as well.. that a Boost controller, and SAFCII, really allows you to tune everything yourself... idk about you, but you'd have to do some research into this entire process
i have an safc and now wanting a flash for more low end torque and hopefully smoother powerband.
usually the hp is the same from the safc and flash. torque is the difference. im trapping 107mph with my afc and stage 2 mods. (BR stages)
i'll be doing a TT flash when its warmer and keeping the safc for a race gas map.

You need to really determine what you want to do totally with your car as far as turbo-upgrades or stock. If you want over 400 hp and plan on eventually getting a turbo upgrade I would go with the aem. If not then you could try another route like a dynoflash ot TTrix flash. My 2 cents.
With the aem ems you will need to learn tons about how to use it and do data logging.I think flashes are a bit more stable and will also I believe will pass emission with putting less stock parts back.
Just call Turbo Trix or Busher or whoever your choice is and tell them what you want/or plan to get, they will guide you and give you advice. Also read and determine what parts work best with your end needs.
