Oil Leak.

I got new cams, valves, springs, retainers installed

I was leaking oil from the drivers side of the motor, it was dripping down and rolling off the top of the tranny, not sure where from though..

It happened the first night I got my car back, it leaked a good amount.

Then the next 2 days it did not leak at all, nothing.

You think it could be serious? Its the 3rd day and no leaking anymore.. only happened that once.

Should I get it checked out? it runs fine, and the oil level did not seem any lower (checked it like 5 times a day for the passed 3 days)

Hopefully it was just a one time thing, or there was excess oil somewhere inside the engine bay and it just... leaked.

When they were installed, did they install headstuds? This would be the only reason it might leak oil. Otherwise some may of gotten spilt and just made it way down finally. It doesn't take very much of a spill to look like alot.

They left some oil out (did not clean it) so some oil was dripping. Keep your eye on the oil thats all. If your oil keeps its level for 1 month then you are ok

Check your valve cover seal. It might've cracked/split.

Valve cover gasket leaking? They *must* remove the valve cover to install cams, and if they didn't re-seal the gasket then that is a likely cause. Even stock my valve cover weeps a bit but I think that's by design.
