Boost controller problems

I just installed my hallman RX pro boost controller last night and I set it at 15PSI just to see if it would work... It works great if I got full throttle from 6th gear, but if I go WOT in 1st-3rd it creeps all the way to 22psi.

I noticed in the box there is a bag with a "heavy spring" do I need to install this?

and also my boost builds so much slower now. Can anyone help me here? thanks

Chris

I have the light spring in mine and have no problems holding 21psi

Just take the end off and do it. It's in the manual and super easy. It's easier than starting your car.
