Hey fellas,

I was wondering if I could bolt-on an 05' turbo into my 04' RS? Al posted a dyno sheet of an 05' MR with just a flash and it put down 290whp! I would like to invest in the newer turbo. Would this be possible? Thanks!

u dont need a whole new turbo.
all it is , is now the waste gate we have is . 9.8 and the 05 has 10.5 u can buy the wastegate for about 300 dollars and the turbo nozzle is a little bigger.. so basically u can just buy these parts and throw them on the rs. i know the wastegate gets u about 20-30lb.s torgue in the midrange.

I thought that the 05's turbo had a bigger internal volume. I thought I had read that somewhere on here a while back. Something about the 05 compressor housing being a bit larger than the 03's and 04's....
