I thought you said you had no mods except a radio? So basically you messed up your motor because you were tinkering w/ an afc, and now you want mitsu to foot the bill...so when legitimate claims come in, Mitsu will be wary of honroing those....

 

i would keep your eye and nose open for the next few days.....

 

ahhh, it was probably cold outside when he started his car, hence the white smoke (steam). if there was a problem ie: head gasket, valve, cracked head, it wouldn't just go away.

head gasket or turbo most likely, or else you have a mean buddy that pured oil in your gas tank. lol!

 

the dealer said that nothing was wrong with the car and they dont know why the car was smoking. i still dont understand. its not the weather out here. i live in hawaii were its always 70-80F. havent had any problems since that one day.

Mitsu wouldnt honor claims anyway, white smoke and 0 oil happened to me, along with a torn apart 3rd piston and partially broken 4th...good luck though
