Tranny limits ?

Hello,

I've been modding my car for quiet some time now , and i'm reaching the point where i'll have to change the internals. I've been looking a bit into it , and i figured it might be cheaper to buy a full engine , built to my specs. I was thinking a JUN engine from Croydon Racing Development in Australia , as it is quiet close to my country , and I dont speak japaneese ^^. + they also sell motec products , so i could have engine + management tested and tuned there.
The question i have is :
How much power can the stock tranny take. I'll try to go for a 500-600 hp engine & turbo combo so i guess it'll be quiet hard on it.
I'm going to ask some info & pricing from holinger to be sure , but I feel like i'll have to change the tranny with all that..
If some of you guys have some info or experience regarding this power range and the stock transmision pls tell me , I'm curently getting as much info as i can.

Thanks.
Gauthier.

The Evo tranny is very strong. There are plenty of people in the 500-600 hp range on STOCK tranny and is still holding up . If you had a Subaru WRX then yes you would definitely need to upgrade!! TRE makes an upgradded tranny for the EVO. www.teamrip.com
