Change in boost durng engine break-in?

I recently picked up an '05 MR and notice that it sems to be harder to get on boost as the engine breaks in. It's got ~450 miles on it now and I've followed the Mitsu recommendations on break in...(no WOT, RPMs less that 5000).

I have gotten into boost (obviously) on several occasions since there does not seem to be a general consensus on boost during break in (from searching these forums)

When the car was new, just a little bit of throttle and boost would kick in....Now it seems like I need to give significantly more throttle to get into boost (still have not gone WOT since I'm still under the magic 600 miles)

What do you all think?...is this just me or something that makes mechanical sense during engine break-in?

Thanks for the help

From: all american city....niles,il
mine kinda felt the same but seems that the boost response was dependent on climate condition ang engine temp. but i did half way throttle during break in period for a brief
moment on several occasions oh by the way i keep it under 5 grand though, i have
1200 mi. now and its still the same....
