BOV whistle

I am getting a low whistle when I press the clutch in during decel or part throttle. I read during a search where MalibuJack was discussing the possibilty of a pressure gradient being the possible cause. Does anyone else experiance this? Just making sure it isn't my BOV getting ready to take a dump on me.

Mods : 1st gen crushed BOV, BR MAF Pipe and Filter, BR Upper IC Piping.

TIA

That might be compression surge, I was reading somewhere and they said that when you hear a whistling sound from the bov you're having surge, I'll try to look up that thread again tho...

Update : This tends to occur when I slow shift and wait for the vacuum to return to normal before I let the clutch out.

Can anyone verify this is ok, not the BOV letting me know it is going out?
