I think the AMS stroker kit is less expensive, even if you add full porting and polishing on the cylinder heads. The Stroker kit itself is $2000, while the porting and polishing rings in at another $2000. Also, i believe it comes with new valve springs and retainers. I'n not saying that the BR kit is bad, just that AMS is cheaper and the quality is just as good.

 

I believe the difference is this is not a kit, the price he posted here is the complete assembled shortblock and complete cylinder head too.
