I'm no expert...nor have I mounted one before...but...

From what I can see in the pics...there are 3 screws. 2 would go under the bottom protion with one top center. The sticky tape would probably go all the way around. Personally I wouldn't do the top screw...and replace the tape with 3M Double sided tape and heat it up prior to adhearing it to the bumper. Don't forget to CLEAN the WHOLE area with rubbing alcohol first!!!!

I just installed mine. You need to get several things before installing to make things work pefectly. You need to get some high strength 3M molding tape, instead of that double sided tape they provide. Also, get some 3M adhesive and Wax remover, it is in a spray can at Wal Mart.

You also need to open up the clips wider and cut off the tab on the clips that will be sticking down against the carbon fiber piece when it is installed.

To locate the hole positions: You put the carbon fiber shield up like you will be installing it. Mark with a magic marker where the CF shield lays on the bumper. Take the CF piece down. Install the modified clips onto the bumper inside the magic marker lines. This makes sure the clips will be underneath where the CF shield will be. Mark the holes and remove the clips. Drill the holes where you have marked in the bumper.

Put the CF shield into place like you will install it. Hold it in place and mark where the holes should be drilled in the carbon fiber by transfering the holes from the bumper to the CF piece. This is where you drill the holes in the CF piece.

Use plenty of the high strength molding tape on the CF piece. Pull 1/2 of the release paper of on the tape and leave the tail of it hanging outside of the CF piece. When you push it in place to install it permanently, the you pull the tail of the release paper and this exposes the rest of the tape adhesive. This allows you to move it around a little bit before it sticks to hard.

Clean the bumper with the adhesive and wax remover where the CF shield will be. Then clean this same area with Alcohol and the back of the CF piece as well before putting the tape on.

This are a few tips. If you look up street images group buy thread on here, they have some directions on installing. I used there directions with a few modifications to the clips and added the wax remover to help adhere the tape better.

Good luck. Mine fit perfectly when installed.
