i would go with fidanza because of its 5 bolts pattern vs the 3 bolts of hks.
AEM, vishnu, and fidanza are all very good 5 bolts cam gears. Dont give me wrong hks are good peices as well, but u have more security with the other ones.

i agree with GTcage the more bolts the better,a fouled gear can result in valvetrain damage/loss

ugh...i dont know why you guys spread this speculation..its comes down to cost and personal preference...thats what you should decide on...how often have you guys heard of the hks 3 bolts slip...? 3 bolts is fine...unless youre an idiot and not tq them down correctly...so like i said...COST and PERSONAL PREFERENECE...they both will do the same thing...i like the new look of the hks gears...but thats just me...

If you get fidenza gears, do yourself a favor & replace all the hardware: nuts, washers & button head cap screws with the better quality pieces.

I just did a cam install over the weekend, the retaining nuts where CHEEZY, maybe 3 threads of engagement, thin nuts) & the sprocket retaining screw length's were different from gear to gear.

Outside of that, the gears looked ok.

i never said hks cam gear sucked, they are very good my friend has them on his supra making 700whp....I just feel more safe with cam gears with 5 bolts that s all, preferably AEM and Vishnu. so dont get your panties in a bunch, no one here dissed the hks cam gears.

I have had a sset of Unorthodox Racing cam gears for about a year and I have not complaints at all. I would say it is personal preference. All that you mentioned are fine, I went with UR simply because the tuning shop I go to reccommended them and they were in stock at the time I went to purchase them.

I have pictures of the GREAT fidanza cam gears that cracked and almost cost the motor. I would probably not recommend them

Here is the url:

You should definately think twice before getting those

I doubt thats a common occurance. Fidanza has been around a long time and has a good reputation. It was probably just a bad gear.
