O2 housing porting?

I am bored here in Ca waiting for it to stop raining and I am wondering if porting my O2 Housing is something that I should/could do. How hard is it and what can I screw up by doing it? and what kind of gains could I see from doing it? Thanks for your time.

there's a thread about several ppl doing it. Why not just buy one already done for you for a mere 100.00. Besides you also weakining the cast iron when you do so. RNR sells theirs for 150 for a 3inch piece.

There was a thread somewhere around here about gains of about 12whp with porting the o2 housing and exhaust manifold. I can't remember what other mods the car had though.
