Where can I get a longer gear ratio??


anyone know who sells them and who are the different manufacturers ....
i only know that norris designs has...

HKS Kansai sells a taller gear. Talk to ASTROEVO, he runs it. He also verified that it is the same gear in the 2000 Galant you can pick up from the dealer for way less cash. I believe our stock final gear is around 456 and the HKS and Galant gear will put you around 411, don't quote me on this, these are just the numbers I have off the top of my head.

when you lookin to get it?..... i will be selling mine in 2 months...when i switch trannys and some other things..... also HKS final drive 4.111 is the way to go...

 

What about the speedometer, etc when you switch the final drive? Is there anything to correct for this?

 

no..... there is no cody.... but according to GPS my speedo is off 8mph..

 

See the tiny piece between the ring and pinion, that is the recalibrated speedo.

 

8 mph at all speeds or at 300 mph?
