What would you guys think is the best downpipe for my EVO MR with my HKS Hi-Power exhaust??

 

The one that is on sale. A 3 inch pipe is a 3 inch pipe.

Take a look at WORKS and BUSCHUR downpipes so far they are the only ones that I know that clear the 6 speed transfer case. Hope it helps.

I bought the Perrin downpipe and it does not fit. During idle, I would feel vibrations with the shift. It scratched (size of a silver dollar) the downpipe and my transfer case.

I am returning the Perrin downpipe for the WORKS!!

 

does anyone know if JIC DP Clears on 05MR? what about Tanabe?

Personally, I am really fond of my Helix 3" DP that I installed on my MR. It is a VERY high quality piece and fits like a glove.

The Helix version 2 downpipe will fit the MR, and not hit the trnsfer case.

I have the Buschur turbo-back on my MR. Fits perfectly--still quite a bit of room between the pipe and the oil pan and transfer case. It will not work with the stock cat. Don't know about compatibility with other manufacturers' cat-backs or cats/test pipes.
