AEM EMS users: Do you use EMS boost control?

How many of those running an EMS are using the EMS's boost control ability.

If not, why not?

I do, no problems. Using GM boost solenoid though, not the stock one.

No I don't, Why = Because It is too hard to get away from having control with the EBC directly right away instead of wiring a high and low boost switch. I use the Blitz Power meter and EBC together.

Advantage though is that the EMS can contorl boost by TPS or RPM and it has several saftey features. I do plan on going to it in the future it is just to much to take on right away (for me) if you are still making changes to your setup. Hopefully I am just about finished so I can start learning about it or so I hope to say that.

I have actually had one shop tell me it didn't work very well but I don't see how this is true when several people have ran it and loved it.

The feedback system on the AEM EMS boost control is not well thought out, and sucks.... but if you tune the base map good and are not running two boost maps via a switch it is rock steady without the feedback enabled.

I'm not using the boost control because I had an AVCR previously installed before the AEM. I am very satisfied with the control I have with the AVCR and didn't feel like taking it out.
