Boost spike with Profec B-Spec - Broke?
I've had it installed for over 2 years and have had no problems untill now. It may just be getting old and going bad. Might need to get a new one, never know. Boost spikes to 26-27 in low setting, high setting, even with the unit turned off. I've had this happen before and all it was was the line going to the BOV (HKS-SSQV) was disconnected. I checked all lines and everything looks decent. Anyone experience this and have any information? Do EBC's just break? I can deal with that and just get a new one but would rather see if I can resolve this issue first. Thanks.

I think it is the control solenoid as well.
EVOTEXAS, I wasn't aware of a plastic plug. I didn't install it. The one thing I didn't install on the car myself. Wish I would have so I'd know more about it.
My settings were 10psi with unit off, 15psi unit low, 22psi unit high. If that's what you're talking about for settings.

Well, I took yall's advice and move the control solenoid to the driver side, next to the oil catch can. Shortened about 4 feet of hosing, good grief. As I was finishing up, I noticed a crack around the wastegate. I slightly tugged on the hose and the thing started moving around. Looking closer I saw that the wastegate cracked all the way around. Anyone know where I can order a stock wastegate and get it overnighted?

Things have progressed. Got a really nice replacement piece from Forge Motorsport.
Works perfectly, serviceable, and gauranteed for life. And it looks damn good too.

Needless to say, problem solved.

sounds like your solenoid is messed up. i had one go out on my blitz boost controller. call greddy and talk to the tech and see what they say. if it is you can just buy a new solenoid i believe.
