If noise is no concern the only function of the exhaust is to get the exhaust gasses away from you and your car to prevent fire and gassing yourself.

Why wouldn't you just go to Joe's random muffler shop and run a straight 3" pipe off a 3" DP (cut the flange off and weld it on)?

honestly if you change your exhaust no your warranty shouldn't get voided.. mine didn't when i put my bushur TBE on and that was with the delete pipe..
also as for loudness... with the racing muffler it is ungodly loud... at 2k rpms my rearview mirror would shake and my windows would give off alittle vibration... and thats not even getting on it..
as for power gain... with just bushur and my AEM short ram intake i made almost 55awhp! can't beat that!
word of warning though... the loudness will get on your nerves eventually.. its why I switched out the muffler for a Megan Racing 3' inlet 4' outlet muffler

Go Buschur. It's about $800 I think and one of the lightest (non-titanium) TBEs out there. And yes, it's loud as all hell.

I have it with no cat and you can hear it on the highway long after you lose sight of me (if I'm in front obviously). And you'll set off plenty of car alarms through parking lots low in 2nd gear.

HKS Is quiet. I have the regular one not the TI. Dont know if that makes a difference in sound. I wish mine was louder, i still have factory downpipe, i guess ill get louder with the downpipe.

I have a friend with the Helix with the test pipe. It is really loud compared to all of my other friends. The Buschur is just as loud, but the Helix has a better sound to it in my opinion.

I'd say that the right Works exhaust will tie buschur for the loudest... 76mm dp with cat delete, non-resonated IP and their AB exhaust (which is really just a muffler delete pipe...)

Have you seen the RMR Mitsu Rally Car in action?

It snorts, Pops! (more like a gun shot) due to dumping the excess boost out to atmosphere) and straight pipe.

Not sure if you want it to be that extreme?
