Actually, you have a point. But everyone can do a 2.4L block or can stroke and bore the motor, but not everyone has a twincharged car.

Best of both worlds. The engine is a built 2.3L stroker. At altitude, I'm in Denver, a 2.3l or a 2.4l would not be able to spool the turbo that I'm using. The supercharger is the only way (besides nitrous) to spool a turbo this large at still be streetable. Even at sea level an Evo with a turbo the size of this one on a 2.3l or 2.4l would not be very fun to drive without the supercharger. The compression maps that we've put together show that this turbo will spool as if it's on a 4.0l six cylinder thanks to the supercharger and stroker engine. Of course, proof will only come when this car is up and running.

That was a cool car. And you're correct, twincharging is not a new idea.

Yes indeed, one of the coolest cars ever. Full carbon/kevlar body. Man, was Group B awesome or what? HKS had the twincharger kit for the MK1 MR2 S/C, people have also made their own for the 4AGZE, I believe.

Awesome setup you've got, I can't wait to see it when it's done!

Almost two feet of snow and counting! The drifts in my driveway are higher than the headlights on my truck. I just got back from the store and had to reach "ramming speed" to get to my garage.

How are you gonna get all that power to the ground. Your gears would have to be pretty tall, and it does'nt seem like you have a widebody kit on there to get beefy wheels and tires on.

A lot of custom work has gone into the drivetrain. Tranny is a custom dogbox with a custom gear ratio. We'll find the weak link in this car quickly.

What aren't you doing to this car? Maybe you should just get XTrac's WRC gearbox!

Oh ya, you're trying to make it "streetable' and have some helical gears. Come on, it's not that much more streetable than straight-cut. Just because of that extra noise/hard shifting?
