hey everyone. i have a question. my sel came on about a week ago and lasted for two days. then today i was at a stop and had the A/C on and it started making a slight knocking sound then idle fell to around 700 then came up to 1k then the light came back on? any help is appreciated, thanx

 

Get the CEL read, and go from there. Autozone will do it for free.

 

what have you done to your evo lately?start back tracking on the things that youve done on it for starters just to get an idea whats causing the problem on it also.

 

well i got it scanned, my dad has his own shop, i wasn't thinking. but its the damn p0300 misfire crap again, and i have already had it "fixed" fk'n mitsu.

 

crap! the damn light was on this morning when i left to mitsu, then as the tech was checking the miles he yell's "does the light only come on when you drive?" i said no its on now. damn it turned off...sigh..oh well i still got my oil changed.
