u dont HAVE to, but it s a good idea, it will keep the blowby oil from going into your turbo and intercooler piping. it help in the longevity of your turbo somewhat.

I have been thinking of getting one. I have heard it helps especially if you have moded. Anything that helps prolong the life of your turbo can't be a bad thing.

I'm deffinitly getting one. The other day I installed my MBC I had to take all the piping off and I also took off the turbo intake off. I ran my fingers through the inside part of the intake pipe and it was full of oil. I washed out the intake pipe and cleaned the turbo with a cotton cloth (very carefully). So I would get one if I were you.

Hey guys,

I have the DIY catch can (don't have the thread handy, but searching on DIY catch can will probably work, heh).

I have one on both the PCV side and the breather side. The ventilation side catches way more oil. I think the breather side is what deposits the oil in the maf pipe. Defintely recommend getting one and plumbing both sides..
