Modification advice needed...

Im looking to get an intake, and full turbo back exhaust on my Evo in the future. I would like to make the mods one by one, and slowly build up. I was wondering it if it would be best to go with a flash or an SAFC2. Thanks.

There are many threads discussing the pros and cons between flash vs. SAFC. If you're modding one item at a time, then SAFC can allow minute adjustments (provided you have a wideband). Otherwise, you'll have to mail-in you ECU every time and the money can quickly add up.

one thing you could do, is start your modding from the rear of the car forward. start with a cat-back, then the highflow car, DP, turbo outlet (if you plan on that) intake and THEN get your flash done. from what I've read on this forum regarding intakes, that should be something done last, not first, and its kinda pointless without a tune.

A hint of advice would be pick a company whos parts you like. Such as Vishnu, Works, Buschur, AMS and only buy their stuff regardless. You will be much happier with your results and no inbetween BS. They all have staged upgrades and they all work very very well. Hope it puts a thought into your mind but either way, good luck.

A custom flash is better than an AFC but I believe other piggy backs are better than some of the flashes avalible as well.

The thing is I am about two hours from Orlando, or Titan Motorsports, and they can reflash ECU's.
