I called the dealership and they told me that stock psi on '04 lancer evo is set to is 8 pounds of boost on the stock turbo and stock computer.

If I just throw in a boost controller with stock turbo and stock computer, how much more can I boost my thing upto without blowing it up, 4 psi more?

Help will be greatly appreciated.

 

the stock evo is set so about 19 psi, and you can safely pump it up to about 21 with good gas and can expect a few more horses.....i dont know who told you it was 8

 

8PSI?? Maybe they ment 18?

ha ha ha. that's funny. if yours is at 8 psi and you haven't done anything to it, take it back. thats what you'll just about get if you take out both of your restrictor pills in your stock lines though.
