Question: Hose routing for my 38mm Tial and turbo?

I have noticed that my 38mm Tial wastegate has 2 ports. The top and side. It seems like everyone leaves the top port open to atmosphere, but where does the side port connect to? Does it run off the compressor?

Also, does anyone have a good diagram for hose locations and conections for EVO's w/ aftermarket turbos? I have a pretty good idea, but I just want to make sure that I am doing this correct.

Thanks in advance.

if you are not using a boost controller, just leave the top one open and feed the lower one with pressure coming from either the intake manifold or much better from the turbo.

I am going to have my XEDE control the boost. The XEDE works off the stock system, so do I need to do anything differently?
