Right off the bat, I apoligize if this has been discussed before on this board and if any of you are tired of reading about it.

Alright, I just recently ordered an HKS Hi-Power cat and a Helix downpipe for my '05 evo. I have been told different things by different people about what i will need to make sure the process goes smoothly. So, I wanted to throw this question out so someone can tell me what (if anything) I will need to buy to use these two parts correctly and insure that I will recieve benefits from them. I plan to do a dynoflash soon and also buy a test pipe. So, if someone could tell me who knows or has experience with these parts or other general exhaust information that I should know, thank you and I'de appreciate your input.

 

Just go ahead and install them.... After they are installed do the Dynoflash (or whatever flash you like) and that should do it. Oh, I'm assuming the flash is custom tuned for your car...... The full exhaust has been known to increase power by as much as 20 WHP in a '05 MR after adding and tuning an XEDE..... The XEDE alone produces around 20 whp without the exhaust, adding the exhaust should increase another 20 or so whp...... Maybe a custom flash with a MBC can do the same thing..... If so, you'll be set
