Lightbulb need opinions

the other day i was comparing my stock clutch and pressure plate out of my '02 spyder gt and notice some very interesting similarities with the factory evo clutch and pressure plate. the spyder's disk is a little smaller and had more dampeners in it, where as the evo's is 2 cm larger in diameter and has no dampeners. the pressure plate in the spyder has the exact same bolt holes, same diameter, and where the disk rides is the exact same as the evo's, the only difference in pressure plates is that the evo's has 18 fingers (more clamping power) and the spyder's has 15 fingers (less clamping power). with this said, it is reasonable to say that is a person with a v-6 eclipse wanted a more powerful clutch, that person could install a evo clutch, correct? i would like everyone's input on this please.

If they are both pull-type clutches with the same bolt pattern, then yeah, you could probably do that. People have been doing that type of swap on other platforms for years. The thing to make sure is that the PP's mating surface appears to be the same.
