what would you or anyone else consider break in, some people say dont go over 3k every shift and keep it below 60 mph, some say 4k and not over 50 mph, some just abuse right out of the box

to me its not stiff at all actually feels the same the only differnce is the pedal sits lower and its got more play , and its kinda hard to get into first and reverse, i think thats just a matter of adjustment at the pedal
whats your take at break in

Great choice!! I love mine. Mine was kind of quirky at first. Wanted to grind putting in reverse but all smoothed out after about 1000 miles(not that I waited that long to get on it) Absolutely awesome clutch!!

With my new clutch I waited about 300 miles before I did any hard pulls. I wouldn't launch the car for at least 600 miles, probably better to wait until 1000.

My recommendation is this:

500-1000 city miles... the goal is more or less 100 1st gear engagements (i.e. takeoffs) so highway miles don't count 1:1. Don't launch at anything above 2.5K RPM and try not to take it past 5K RPM on the break in period.

With that break in period your clutch should hold for many moons.

Thanks for supporting the product and if you have any questions, feel free to give me a call.

D'oh!!

I just recently got the exedy twin disk probably put around 500 miles on it before I started launching it. Looks like next time I'll know better.

Mine howls (groans) when it grabs in first how about you guys, do you get the same problem. Let me know, thanks.

i read in a previous post that it tends to groan when you slip it a little, and that it was normal (idk)
