K&N dropin filter > cone filter?

This would be without the tuning. Does it make any difference? Don't want to spend money on things that don't add to anything...at least, not until I get to the end of the project LOL. Would the K&N filter even be worth the money?

It's not going to give you a whole lot of change. I purchased it mainly because it is reuseable. I end up saving money in the long run.

I have one and it works good. the throttle response is much better and you can feel the difference in power, not much but its there.
