We had ordered and prepaid for FIVE intake manifolds from BJ's probably about a year ago. 2 were Evo intake manifolds (fully loaded with 2nd rail, n20 bungs, etc), 3 Talon/Eclipse manifolds (2 fully loaded, etc).

After maybe 3 months, of unanswered phone calls, 3 mysteriously arrived at our door steps. 2 Talon/Eclipse manifolds (both were bare and had no 2nd rail, etc), and one Evo manifold (which was also bare).

We tried calling again and again. No answer, no returned calls.

Few months down the road we received a call from who I think was either BJ's mother or wife (I can't remember which). She mentioned that she will be taking over our order and will ensure they get shipped out. She also mentioned she would be sending us a couple extra manifolds so that we could stock and sell if someone local needed.

Well, that was maybe 4-5 months ago and we still haven't heard or seen anything from them.

Goods wre shipped late and no contact from BJ - BUT they did finally arive and they are really wonderful - what an amazing manifold - IMHO BJ needs to improve his customer service BUT his product is amazing

hmmm... seems like no one is perfect... the bjs mani is stackless just ported... and the magnus ones split? geez... what a disaster... i guess the hks nad jun ones are the only viable 238940938 dollar option.

Check with AMS. Eric posted some pics of a intake manifold on one of our local boards that they were working on. It looked to be a VERY nice peice.

Too bad BJ's is not a good vendor because his manifold looks so much better than the Magnus one.

Any body have any pics of the AMS intake manifold?

I guess this shot is BEFORE they put the "box" and throttle body on? Also looks like it needs the injector bungs welded in.
Nice smooth stacks on top of each runner though!

I think when Eric posted those pics on my local forum he said it was a work in progress, but not sure on that. I love the way it looks and going by AMS's reputation I'm sure it works good too.

I'd just call them and find out. Not sure being I'm not in the market for one.

Since I chimmed in this thread, I might as well ask. What would be the benefits of a intake manifold on a stock turbo EVO?

lovin my magnus, came in the other day overnight man, and my throttle body came in from accufab, now its a mustang throttlebody but was modified for the evo and man is it nice, its like 82mm or somthing like that i think? but very nice piece and the velocity stacks on the magnus are beautiful im just sorta pissed my car has been sittin doing nothing when i coulda had this mani in the first place and now im gonna barely make it to the shootout then it gos back in the shop for another 3 weeks for some interrior work im doin custom and my stereo stuff and to get my IC piping that Matt from Slick Motorsports made (by the way his welds are god, he made my turbokit, i love his manifold nice = length and very heavy duty, the runners are giant thickness wise, he uses 1/8" SS for the manifold runners and they come together perfect at the turbo flange...) So ya Al what kinda power are you getting out of the stock block with 272 cams, 1000cc injectors, full turbokit with intake mani??? i was hopin u could retune my car after the shootout...
