Ticking noise when cold!?

When my engine isn't warm and I haven't gotten into boost I have this ticking sound. My mechanic said that he thought it was a lazy lifter, just not getting oil into it yet or something. But the ticking sound does go away after my engine warms up and has gotten into boost a few times. I do have HKS cams if that makes a difference, it probably is the reason Im guesing. ? ? ? Anyone have this too??

I have now owned THREE Mitsu's....All of them had the famous tick when cold.

It's almost like a BAD trademark.

It is probably a bad lifter. Alot of cams are being put in and the lifters are not bleed before re-assemble. It blows the seal in the lifter.
