Any of you guys out there that have a ACT 6 Puck???? Mine was installed and now its making a LOUDEST F**king noise ever... only in first gear when i let the cluth go about half way when its starting to grip thats when it happens i do have a video if someone wants to host it very small file about 350KB

400 Torque and 425 WHP and in two weeks that number is going to rise by 100 WHP
i had it in the car for 5 days now and the car feels fine but the NOISE Is OUT OF Control

Kuba, same thing happened with my stock clutch. Same type of thing you are talking about. Started only when coming down into second and now is worse and happens in all gears and is pretty loud. Im hoping its the throwout bearing, however Im having the dealership throw in an Exedy Twin plate while they are replacing that throwout bearing. The noise sucks! Ill let you know what happens after the clutch gets put in tomorrow.

 

Doesn't the 6 puck cause alot more stress on the tranny and whatnot if not driven perfectly?

They are more grabby that a standard clutch disk, and can shock the drivetrain harder than a standard disk.

I am interested to hear it too. Other than the usual noise from torsional vibration (not like what you are describing) I haven't heard of anything weird with the EVO.
