ignition help....

Any one have experience with the evo ignition system? I tried to install a ignition system and ran into problems with misfiring. So I put every thing back to stock and now my idle is really ruff like not all the cylinders are firing or the timing is way off. Any help would be appreciated!

What do you mean "ignition system"?
The Evo coils have built-in capaciters, if you try to runs a CDI thru them you'll screww your coils up.
The stock Evo ignition can easily handle 500+ hp. Keeping good plugs and wires on it is all you need.
Get ahold of a service manuakl and check your coils out. You may have burn't them up.

Yea, that’s what I thought. I am planning on adding 272’s and alcohol injection on top of my current mods. So I will be close if not past to the stock limits of the ignition system.
