BPR7IEX, stock heat range or one step colder???

I got these plugs from lancershop.com and on their site they say that these are one step colder. I also saw this on another site too. But I have been reading around and I thought people were saying that the BPR7IEX and the BPR7ES were stock heat range and not 1 step colder. I have alot of mods and I am getting tuned this weekend and I have well over 400hp. Should I stick with the BPR7IEX's that I have ready to go for tuning? Or should I get some BPR8ES plugs?, should I use the stockers? PLEASE HELP, I AM RUNNING OUT OF TIME!!

I think it is the stock heat range. I bought some iridium IX's and my knock levels have increased substantially over the stock plugs. I might put my stockers back in. I'm being logical about this conclusion because why else would my knock levels increase by so much and i've refilled gas 3 times already, so i don't think it was bad gas. They are all pre-gapped and i did check them after my first couple runs on them and they are all the same. I'm thinking about buying some denso iw22 or iw24's.

I'm using BPR7ES with light mods / no probs. I was thinking about getting some Iridiums but wasn't sure on which heat range to get either.

look at page 2. The guy says NGK igr7's are the stock plug number. I think 7 is the heat range since NGK puts the heat range in their model numbers.

well 8's are hotter than 7's but my car came with IGR7A-G's...my friend said his came with 8's in it. Apprently so does lancershop and Vivid. I put in the BPR7EIX's, with my tune they run better.

I believe it's the other way around. 8's are colder than 7's. And the stockers are 7's, so 8's would be one step colder.

Actually this is a good point.. My car came stock with the IGR7A-G plugs.. but according to the manual, its an 8 heat range.. I am currently using IW24's and have used BPR7ES's.. Of them all, the BPR7ES or BPR7EIX seem to run the best on my car..

(Stock) heat range 7 = Denso IW22, HKS S35G, NGK-iridium NA
Heat range 8 = Denso IW24, HKS S40G, NGK BR8 EIX
Heat range 9 = Denso IW27, HKS S45G, NGK BR9 EIX
