No clip, but it is quiet when cruising and it growls at WOT.

Yup have to agree with ya. The sound is great. Sounds better if you have cams.

yeah hes right, most greddy's are quiet with the exception of the Ti. that thing is just a beast the way it sounds. i had the evo2 on my evo first and then changed over to the titanium. Both are great peices but i like my Ti better. The evo2 really quiet.

Hi,

How is it so quiet at idle, is it a baffled muffler (not straight-through)? 3" piping?

<edit>well I checked it out at gruppe-s.com and it appears to have 3" piping with a straight-through muffler, but it does have a resonator. I wonder if I should just swap mufflers, and/or add a resonator or two to my Helix 3".. Just not sure if that will help enough. Also, the Helix looks tend to give it away, even with some ugly flat black paint, hehe. Oh well, I'll try to figure something out for around the time I get my inspection sticker.
</edit>

At this point I'm looking into various ways to either have a quieter setup and make more power than my silenced Helix, or go with a cutout and have the ability to change it on the fly...

My Helix silencer cost approx 50 WHP on the dyno!

Take care,

FB
