Greddy TI...Who has it?

Just scoping for an exhaust system for the evo here....How does the Greddy Ti perform and sound. From what i can see on websites, it looks absolutley stunning, but I need to know if it has a overly loud growl. Im not talking about stock exhaust quietness, but i dont want it to be louder than a huge explosion either. If there are other exhausts out there that are comparable and you have those, please discuss those as well as I still currently just searching.

Its pretty damn loud dude. One of the loudest for our cars. I have a Helix downpipe and cat-delete. It is loud, but it sounds freakin' awesome in my opinion. Not to mention how amazingly light the whole system is. I don't have any regrets. I've heard the HKS, Buschur, TurboXS, JIC, and PRO-1. My Greddy-Ti was louder than all of them.

I've got a greddy ti exhaust, and i think its amazing. Its probably one of the nicest sounding exhust on the market for the EVO, but also one of the most expensive. The thing weights like 9-10 lbs, and it has an amazing sound.... http://www.roadraceengineering.com/e...ytiexhaust.htm .....RRE has a nice clip of the system. Im sure there are exhaust systems that have the same exact results in term of power as the greddy ti, and are a lot less expensive, but i got it for a really good price (e-bay) and its a real unique system. If your willing to fork out the $$$, then i say go for it. As for sound, its pretty loud....RRE said 99 dB ats WOT. It comes with a silencer, but ive never used it. To give u an idea, my buddy can hear me as soon as i leave my driveway, and he lives a couple blocks from me! Oh well, i hope this helps with ur decision making and let me know if u have anymore questions!

I have one on my car and have been impressed with its performance/quality. I'm running a test pipe though and its just a little too loud for me. I just ordered a used RMR and will put it on next week. If I don't notice the performance drop (don't think I will), and the sound is mellow enough I'll be selling my Greddy Ti on here. The weight, look and performance of the Greddy Ti rules, and it sounds great...but I'm going for stealth and wanted something quieter. I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too.

I know I could put the silencer in, but would rather just run a quieter, less restrictive system if I'm gonna be plugged up at all. Can't have your cake and eat it too!

i have one. its pretty groovy. kinda loud, but what do you reall expect from a 3+ inch resonator free titanium exhaust. i dont have a test pipe tho, so its not over powering.

yeah i have it with an apex dp and perrin delete pipe, and it is VERY loud...i especially could tell how loud it was when i went to a dyno day and heard so many different cars on the dyno, and mine was by far the loudest....i love the sound though, very throaty....also, it put down reeal good numbers, so the performace gains are there

I have a Tanabe Ultra Medalion, its loud with a test pipe but has a deep unique tone. Not many people like them cuz its a Titanium can with SS piping but it looks real good on the Evo, check my profile if you want a pic.

i switched from the greddy evo2 to the greddy Ti. honestly i love the Greddy Ti. At first i thought the greddy Ti was WAY too loud, but once driving with it for a while, its very nice. i have a helix downpipe and stock cat.

check my sig for a video sound clip. the stock Greddy pipe will be about a inch short of the bumper so in the video you can see I made it longer.
