Boost chase

Dealer #1 had told me my car was fine. Dealer #2 said it was sick. I told both that about half my boost was missing. Dealer #2 agreed, and was able to do something about it.

As it turned out the original owner of the car very well fraked with the vacuum lines in the stock BOV. The dealer put in a T-connector, and recovered a good chunk of boost in the process. I'm still need to sort out what they did. I'm getting 15psi of 19. They said that the two vacuum lines to the BOV were supposed to be connected.

I'd like to get the last four psi, what they recovered made an improvement.

Is there a source where I can get the layout of the vacuum lines so I can at least plum the car as it should be?

I'm not sure everything's right with what they did to it, or if I still have a leak somehwere. The O.O. may have trashed the warenty for me to boot.

If your car is 100$ stock otherwise, grab a 10MM wrench and tighten ALL you IC Clamps. That is where my Boost went

Seriously i went from 16PSI to 20 PSI!!!!

The car is all stock, and I busted some fingers seeing to everything being tight. The dealer took off the air box and seemed to check it all out. I already found two loose fittings.

I'm at odds on what they did to it, havning to add a T connector to get the BOV vacuum lines to work. I'm wondering if this is a repair or a patch. Especially if it's taking up my remaining 4psi.

There is a diagram of the boost lines, and some vacuum lines, under the hood on the driver side. That should help. Also, for a few bux you can get the online PDF tech manual, which has all the vacuum lines detailed within.

Good luck!
