Yes I install everything myself. I also "tune" it myself but all i can use is EGT's and Wideband AFR's.

Did you adjust the low throttle settings to -36 or just the high? Leave the low throttle settings a 0 except the 1000. Put that one at like +5 or so. The computer compensates on all of the low throttle settings. The only reason for the +5 is you will get a cel for a lean code as the computer is trying to add fuel due to the response time. I have been helping a friend with a setup very similar to yours.

I could care less about an engine code. All settings are around the -36% or so. The ECU can only adjust to 20% I believe. I learned it in an interesting way. I tried to leave all the low settings at zero and only adjust the WOT accel table but that didnt work at all. The car would literally cut out every once and while from being too rich. I honestly think part of the problem might just be the plugs. They are stock, I was running way too rich since it left the factory and with all the new injectors and FPR and everything it was way worse. To make a car cut out from being too rich just cruising is pretty bad. Im sure the plugs are junk also. I am just trying to get as many ideas as possible. The cars transmission took a crap on me so I am hopefully getting it all back together tomorrow. I guess I will do my best on fixing the idle tomorrow. Ill let you guys know how it does and what the problem (If I can fix it) was... I didn't have too long to tinker with it considering after my first few pulls tuning with the new turbo the tranny crapped out (I think I got 5 pulls before it junked).

Al "Dynoflash" is a busy guy and he will get back to you as soon as he gets a chance.
Dynoflash was terrible for this setup on my friends car. The car was super lean and car would knock when boost came on. We had him flash the car back to stock and are now using the safc.

Your friends timing is really jacked up then if he is only using a AFC and big injectors, anything over 680cc. If you take the AFC past neg 20% there is a good chance the engine is detonating from the ECU advancing the timing thinking that there was a less amount of air going through the MAF because the AFC is tricking it. I went through 5 motors in my 99 GSX before I figured this out. FYI

How much timing does the ecu add if you take away say -30 on the safc?

I'm not sure the exact # but I melted a few pistons that way. I ran 20,000 miles on one motor and it ran great untill it started smoking but it wasn't loosing compression. I pulled the head off and the top of the #4 piston was melted. I was running 660cc injectors in my GSX with the AFC in the neg 35% range. All the fuel in the world wouldn't have helped the detonation that the timing was causing. Race gas maybe, but then you would need to take the AFC into the neg 40%s and that would put you back a square one.
