Can anyone else confirm that these parts work well together?

The parts will bolt up together that is not a problem.

Whether or not it will cause problems I could not confirm or deny. Anytime you change the piping after the MAF you have the posiblity to have problems. This will only happen in a small number of cars.

The APS BOV will not cause any problems. It works better then stock in all aspects.

I have an Injen intake, and when I installed the APS BOV I had very bad surging no matter how I adjusted it, so I took it out and put the stock one back in.

The intake shouldn't effect that though.

Sounds like an issue with the BOV itself or your installation.
