I just had my gsc 272i/264 cams installed this past saturday with the help of rraulston. Was pretty simple.
Just got a question, on the stock cams, the car idle @~-16inHg. With the gsc cams, its ~-10inHg........is that normal? Shouldnt it idle more negative since the new intake cams is bigger than the stock ones?
I'm waiting for Al to tune it in 2 weeks time, for now, the car is running really rich.

No it's less vacuum. More overlap of the cams means less vacuum.

You lost 6 inches of vacuum? That's a lot! Do you have really aggressive cam gear settings? I lost 3 inches with HKS 264/272 at 0/0 and I've seen others post similar. Even with 272/272 I didn't think you'd be down that much.

Mine dropped from 18 to 11. Sounds pretty common with this combo.
