this has probably been covered a numerous amount of times and i have searched but didnt find the exact answer i wanted. im planning on getting a hallman MBC hks dp, hipower exhaust, and intake (just the filter). im still not sure about what im getting first. i read that the modifications will cause spikes and the mbc cant control it as well as a ebc would. so my questions are: will a dp exhaust and intake affect the MBC? should i stick with the mbc or get an ebc? what should i get first second ect.? with the mbc, dp, exhaust, and intake, would i be able to hold a steady 19.5 or 21psi? thanks a lot (sorry about the length!)

 

you could hold up to 23psi.

get a flash, you could go up to where ever on boost.

I think alky injector holds 28psi easy without blowing up the engine.

 

i dont really have the time to send in the ecu ect. all i want to do is 19-21 psi and the questions i listed is all i want to know...thanks anyways!

 

Get the MBC first, set it for 20psi.

Stick with the stock intake.

And a full TBE may effect boost slightly, just adjust accordingly.

 

With the mods you have, i dont see a problem running 19/20 pounds aslong as its atleast 93 octane without a flash, a flash will get you more power though.

 

I hold 21PSI till 7000 I dont spike.
