clutch install

i went to a few shops to see how much it would cost to get my clutch installed.. this one shop told me a thousand dollars in labor! -__ ... id rather just install it myself... how much did u guys pay? if i cant find a cheaper pride ill just install myself.

I dropped it off yesterday (monday) and pickin it up thursday. $400.

400 to 500 is about right with all fluids,etc...

There is an excellent step by step write up around here somewhere. Unless you have a lift or a pit, make sure you can get a hefty dude to help you get that tranny back in. Take care to get the throw out in correctly. BTW $1000 labor is a rip.
