I'm in the process of getting a transimission and transfer case rebuilt for an upcoming clutch job I have planned. I've been looking for a used TC, but they all seem to sell within a few minutes of being listed. I called up Jon at TRE to discuss rebuilds of the transmission and TC and he spoke with me at great lengths, probably 35-45 minutes.

As many of you may or may not know, TRE can rebuild you're fried TC in most cases. Also I found out that TRE can sell you a brand new TC that has already been inspected, has installed the upgraded forged spider gear set(front diff), ring and pinion checked and large trash magnet to keep the TC oil clean. TRE also has a great special on the Ralliart LSD for those like me that missed out on the Quiafe LSD group buy. I think the special is the Ralliart LSD installed for $1350 with new TC seals. Jon gave me some prices on the new "improved" TC and they are fantastic. Turns out you can have a much stronger, brand new TRE TC at a great price. Just a good piece of FYI I found and wanted to pass on to fellow members.
