Lightbulb Forgemotorsport Adj Actuator

Just thought I would give you guys an idea of the performance of the adjustable wastegate actuator. My first impression is this is a nice piece. The arm of the actuator is adjustable in 2 areas. You are able to shorten the arm that goes to the wastegate and therefore hold the wastegate closed for longer time. You are able to run 14-18 psi boost at the source with no controller. And then you pull on the arm which will extend for you. Since adjusted, I am barely using my hallman controller now and the car spools differently. The boost curve is entirely different. It seems to delay a little but builds mid - high rpm range. Car definately feels faster but doesn't give you that quick spool we are used to. So what it is worth, I think it is a good replacement for the stock piece. You will need to play with the adjustment like I did to find that medium where you can control the boost on the MBC and adjustment spring. Feel free to chime in on anyones thoughts about this product for our evos.

nice! how much you got it for? $170?

OT: I have quick question for you. Well as you can see my sig, I'm building a custom turbo using evo parts. Well the stock wastegate psi is set too high for me. So I'm planning to buy Forge Adj Actuator but I'll have to change its spring into 5 lbs spring. Wondering if it will work the same I do that. Thanks

Btw: are you Steve?
